Madeline (she/her) Teacher
Muse: Blasting music and dancing in my living room & laughing
Madeline is a Pilates instructor and trauma-informed yoga facilitator through Prison Yoga Project. Her understanding of the body was forged through years of working in human and civil rights advocacy with trauma survivors, experiences that taught her how profoundly movement shapes our sense of agency, joy, and liberation.
Muse Movement certified and currently training as a clinical therapist, she brings a grounded, playful presence to every session, with a deep belief that feeling freedom in your body should be accessible to everyone.
Madeline’s classes are built around you. Her healing-centered approach is collaborative and intuitive, with movement that adapts to the bodies in the room, and a sense of humor that keeps things light. Expect functional movement that carries into your daily life, and plenty of room to be a little goofy along the way. (While also discovering your own strength)
What to expect in Madeline's classes: Empowerment to show up exactly as you are, encouragement to get curious about your own body and strength, embodiment to find a deeper connection with yourself, and energizing music that makes you want to shake it.
