Muse Movement Lisboa Studio Policies

1. General

  • Arrival: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.

  • If you are more than 5 minutes late for your class you will not be admitted and considered a late cancellation. 

  • Waiver: Sign your waiver through your Momence account before attending.

  • Shoes:  Please leave street shoes on shelves at the entryway — no shoes in the studio.

2. Code of Conduct

  • Respect Always: Muse Movement strives to be a safe, inclusive space where everyone belongs. We ask all members to treat one another with kindness, respect, and consideration.
    Racism, discrimination, violence, or harassment of any kind are not accepted and may result in being asked to leave the studio.

  • Read the room: Our studio is a shared space. Be mindful of your voice, actions, energy, and personal boundaries, especially in common areas and corridors where classes may be in session.
    Help keep the space clean by tidying up after yourself. Group classes are a shared experience, not private sessions. If you want one-on-one time, please book a private.

  • Phones: Phones are not allowed in classrooms unless there is an emergency and you have spoken to us about it.

  • Age Minimum: 16+ (no children observing classes).

  • Leaving Early: If you have to leave early please let your teacher know before class.

  • Injuries & Adjustments: If you have an injury or special condition, please let your teacher know before class. Hands-on adjustments are given only with your consent.

  • Disruption Policy: Please avoid speaking during class, as it can be disruptive. Participants who disrupt class may be asked to leave.

3. Membership Policies

  • Auto-Renew: All memberships renew monthly.
    Cancel via ola@musemovement.pt at least 1 month before the intended end date.

  • Holds: Up to 2 holds/year, max 1 month each.

  • Commitment: Depends on your membership, either a 3 or 12 month commitment
    Early cancellations: 3 month commitment will be charged for one month after cancellation; 12 month will be charged 2 months after the cancellation 

  • Credits: No roll-over (except member perk below). Not transferable between Mat & Reformer. Member credits are not transferable to any one else. 

  • Billing: Based on membership activation date; payments recur monthly.

  • Expirations: Expirations apply on your packages, please make sure to use all your credits; these dates are firm. 

  • Class Cancellation: Please cancel within 4 hours of your group classes or your credit will be deducted from your pass or membership.

Membership Perks

  • Extra Drop-Ins: Available at your membership per-class rate (auto-applied in Momence).

  • One Rollover Credit allowed per month. Please email ola@musemovement.pt if you need a credit rolled over to your next month. 

  • 10% Off workshops & events (some restrictions apply).

  • Early Access to promotions.

  • Member-Only Pricing for a one private session per month membership

  • Bring-a-Friend Free: One free friend pass every 2 months 

Cancellation Policies

  • Group Classes (Mat & Reformer): Cancel ≥ 4 hrs before class to keep your credit. Late arrivals more than 5 minutes unable to enter = late cancel.

  • Private Classes: Cancel ≥ 24 hrs in advance to keep your credit 

  • Workshops: Paid in full upon enrolment, non-refundable if participant cancels.

  • Teacher Training: Deposits and full payment are non-refundable.

  • Studio Class Cancellations: Muse may cancel classes up to 2 hrs before start — you’ll be notified and credited back.

5. Expiration Policies

Virtual Packages

  • On-Demand: Monthly auto-renew — contact us to cancel. 

In-Studio Packages

  • Drop in Reformer and mat: 1 month to use

  • 10 Class (Reformer & Mat): 3 months to use

  • 20 Class (Reformer): 6 months to use

  • 50 Class (Reformer & Mat): 1 Year to use

  • INTRO OFFER (unlimited): 10 days to use from first booked class

  • 5 Private Pack: 3 months to use

  • 10 Private Pack: 6 months to use

  • 50 private pack: 12 months to use

  • No transfer between Mat & Reformer credits

6. Payments & Refunds

  • Payment Required: All reformer, mat, and workshop classes must be paid upon registration.

  • No Refunds: All pricing options are non-refundable & non-extendable.

  • Transfers: If you are unable to use your class pack credits, the remainder of your class pack may be transferred in full to a friend/family member. You will no longer have access to the class pack.

  • No transfer between group and private session credits.

  • Workshop Refunds:

    • No refunds within 48 hours of start.

    • Before 48 hours: 15% admin fee applies, or receive Muse credit at no charge.

    • No refunds for participant cancellations after the deadline.

  • Studio Cancellations: Muse Movement may cancel workshops up to 1 week prior — full refund provided.

7. Dog Policy

  • The founders’ dog is a friendly service dog who is often present in the studio.

    • She will not enter the mat or reformer studios during sessions

    • She may greet guests at the front door

  • If you are uncomfortable around dogs, please let us know in advance so she can remain leashed and behind the desk.

  • Guests are welcome to bring their dogs briefly to say hello, though we are unable to supervise or care for dogs during classes.

  • Service dogs are always welcome in common areas and in the reformer studio.
