DURRAH (she/her) Teacher
Muse: The quiet moments that invite presence - a slow sunrise, deep breath, or music that makes the body come alive.
Durrah is an empathetic, encouraging, grounded, supportive, and intentional teacher who found her way to Pilates through healing. What began as a doctor’s recommendation became a meaningful relationship with movement and strength, and having been a student herself for years, she understands what it feels like to learn and grow within a practice. Inspired by things that ebb and flow, she approaches movement as something cyclical and steady, believing in riding the wave and trusting that the sun will always rise again. She also draws inspiration from people who move through the world with confidence and a creative range (think a jack of all trades, or, Dua Lipa for example). Her classes focus on full body movement with purposeful sequencing, mobility work, and controlled pulses that help you feel challenged and supported throughout.
Durrah teaches with the belief that strength can be built from any starting point and that listening to the body always matters. She values both dynamic and slower, more intentional movement, creating a space where students feel supported, challenged, and connected to their bodies in every class. She is trained in mat and reformer Pilates through Barre Body.
